Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Really wanted to like this place after some of the favorable reviews. Wanted to find a place with local brews and good food. We got the local brew part, but the food left and service left a lot to be desired. The beers are the highlight, though would have liked a description at the tables on a card or menu. The only description of the beers is the name and style of the beer written on a chalkboard. There were three in our party and we wanted to share a couple apps and a pizza. Tried to order onion rings. They were "all out for the day". It was 7pm on a Saturday night and the small place was about half full. Then we ordered chips, but they were also out of the nacho cheese sauce, but could offer salsa. We ended up with chips and salsa and wings. Chips and salsa came out right away. They are straight out of a bag and a jar. Nothing different than you get at the store. Waste of $5. The wings never arrived, but after asking about them, they came with the BBQ pork pizza we ordered. These may be the worst wings I've ever had. They tasted like the kind from the bag that you either microwave or fry. Heavy, soggy breaking and and tossed in a thick sauce that was all heat and no flavor. We could literally see the smoke coming off them even though they were no longer hot to the touch. Really bad. To top it off we had to pay $1 extra because we wanted both ranch and blue cheese as dippers. Again, straight from the bottle. The pizza has potential. Ours was wet and the toppings slid right off, however it had good flavor. The crust is excellent. If I were to go back, which I doubt will happen, I'd certainly try another pizza variety. The service was slow and not good. The server was friendly enough, but never came back to check on us. Not once. Wanted water to wash down the one wing that was eaten and had to flag her down. Waited a very long time to check out and all in all paid a lot of money for low quality food (minus the pizza) and poor service. Disappointing experience.

Ordered poutine but they were out of it. Ordered the boiled peanuts...I'm pretty sure they just microwaved what they bought at Publix. Ordered the shrimp pizza. With Hull's Seafood across the street why on earth would they use frozen shrimp? All this and poor service too.

Google "Craft Beer Breweries, Ormond Beach" and you'll find Tomoka Brewery is 40+ miles from the nearest "local" brewer so you have to love that they are here and very invested in making a go of it in this town. I liked Tomoka Brewery and as the rating suggests, it is A-OK. It's a difficult place to spot as you roll down Granda Blvd, cars roaring by as they come down off the bridge. Parking in the back and using the rear entrance is functional but..., first impressions are not good. Here's what is good. Bartender and cook were more than happy to accommodate Vegan Pizza and Spinach/red onion salad (no cheese) and it was excellent. We came for the beer and found Peace Pipe Smoked Imperial Porter featuring house-smoked malts 8% abc, Mexicali Blues Agave Lime Gose 4.4% abc, Black Drink Coffee Black IPA 7.4% abc, and Peaty McPete's Barrel Aged Scotch Ale 9% abc on Tap. We tried the Black IPA and Lime Gose and settled for the more familiar Jai Alai IPA from Cigar City which was also on tap. The atmosphere inside the bar needs a little more personality and will come with time. While a little pricey, I can't complain because the food was really excellent, service good, and the beer cold. Tomoka Brewery is new, they are very committed to make it work in a tough environment and it's exciting having a fresh craft beer place at the beach. We will try them again in hopes I can up this rating to the 4 or 5 stars the Tomoka Brewery could surely merit and I'll try them again in hopes it all works out for them.

Nice place, good beer selection that rotates, and I believe they will soon be brewing their own. I've heard the food is good, never personally ordered any. I always get a beer flight, it's a great deal and fun to try a couple different smaller beers. I just wish there was some better music or a little more ambiance. The outside area is lovely though.

The owner was working behind the bar and was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable about the beer on tap. They do not have the brewing equipment installed yet as they are awaiting licensing, but the tap selection was a nice assortment of Florida craft beer. Check this place out if you like craft beers.

Wow, what a hidden gem! This is a great place for kraft beers and incredible pizza! Fun time at the bar...

We've been to the Tomoka Brewery three times since its opening and we like it a lot. Of course the principal attraction is the ever-changing variety of Florida craft beers on tap to which the owners, Peter Szunyogh and Jennifer Hawkins, plan to add their own brews as soon as federal licensing permits. The menu is pub food oriented but it's classy pub food. We haven't worked our way through the menu yet but the fried okra is terrific with a deliciously light breading. Pizzas are ample for two people. We had the Spanokopizza and thought it was terrific. The crust was exceptionally light and airy, just beautiful. The pungent selection of cheese with a hint of garlic was a good match for one of the IPAs on tap. Tomoka Brewery is just getting established and is mainly operated by just two people who must be working . . . all the time. There are kinks to work out matching secondary staffing to flow of business. But we're enthusiastic about Tomoka Brewery. I'm especially interested in the beers and Peter and Jennifer talk about them with knowledge and love. Tomoka Brewery is a great addition to the Granada corridor of restaurants and shops that make Ormond Beach a great place for residents and visitors both.
